In today's gaming world there are many different genres that are massively expanding. From first person shooters to real time strategy, each game has its greatness. One of the most expanding genres that are widely booming is online gaming. Many different game developers around the world are creating these types of games. Some of these games may be free to play, but most of the others require a monthly payment after purchasing the game. The greatness of this genre is too play with friends and cooperatively work together. Some gamers may even want to do a little Role-playing while they are playing to really get into the world of the game. One of the most loved and played MMO out today would have to be World of Warcraft. Many of the fans who have been following the series of Warcraft have really loved what they have done. With over 10 million players they are the most played online game. In the game you are on either faction; Horde or Alliance. On each side there are many different side races each with their different stories and traits. For the Horde there are: Orc, Troll, Blood Elf, Undead, and Tauren. For the Alliance there are: Humans, Night Elf, Dwarf, Gnome, and Draenei. Within the many races there are different classes. These include: Priest, Warrior, Paladin, Druid, Mage, Warlock, Rogue, Hunter, Death Knight, and Shaman. The main components of this game is to complete quests for npcs to gain experience points to level up. As you level up you gain new abilities\spells for your class. As you progress through the game you will be able to do dungeons, instanced off zones with 5 people where you can obtain greater gear. In the end game you will be able to do raids, either 10 or 25 man, where you fighting harder more important bosses for some of the best gear in the game. One of the greatest mechanics in the game is the crafting system. There are many professions you can choose from. The Gathering ones are: Mining, Skinning, and Herbalism. The others are: Blacksmithing, Alchemy, Engineering, Inscription, Enchanting, Tailoring, Jewelcrafting, and Leatherworking. You can only do 2 of the above. The sub professions include: Cooking, fishing, and first aid in which you can master each. For convenience of travel once you hit level 20 you can acquire a mount which increases you movement speed greatly so that traveling isn't such a burden. There are also flying mounts which you acquire at higher levels. I myself have played this game and really suggest it to all of those who enjoy playing online games.
